Wasn't sure where to shove this question so just decided to start a new thread.
My brother picked up a PS3 a week or so ago, and yesterday he decided to buy Metal Gear Solid from the Japanese PS Store. Being as stupid for the Metal Gear series as I am, I asked if he could transfer it onto my PSP. So, I made some room for it and linked my PSP to his PS3 (as I used to have my PSP connected to a mate's PS3) and we started the transfer.
However it came up with a weird error I've never heard of before. It said something about "invalidating the previous account" or similar and had a Continue or Cancel option. We weren't sure whether to continue or not and we didn't want to risk anything. Figured I'd ask to see if anyone has ever had anything similar and has any idea's of what we should do.
sound like you can only link your psp to one PS3 at a time. so you won't be able to play anything you come from you friends ps3 if you go ahead.
one of the reasons I use custom firmware and ripe my old ps1 games strait from my old game discs
just like the above fellow, this can't be not legal because it goes under the assumption you have copy of that game laying around, this is what I do with my old discs to finish em up on the go.
