Spaced: The best thing to come from Britain since...uh...

Spaced

I've created this thread not only as a tribute to one of the greatest TV series of all time, but also to celebrate "McSpaced" being cancelled by Fox (McSpaced was the American version of Spaced that didn't include the original creators).

If you haven't heard of Spaced, well, its about time you did. The same guys who made Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were the masterminds behind "Spaced", and it shows. You can see it when it comes to America for the first time on DVD sometime this year.

There were two seasons of Spaced, and though I (among many others) was sad to see it end in 2001, I would rather it end strong (Arrested Development) than sort of flicker out.

Socialism is the concrete foundation of America. Capitalism is the flimsy tin shack that sits upon it.

I'm just not sure how to do it on youtube. I thought there was a ten minute limit?

I'll put it on rapidshare, then.

I'll try to get the second and third episodes done tonight (I have to split each episode into two files).

Yes, I thought it might be against the rules, but I figured that if you could link to a fucking youtube video of the entire episode then you could just send the person the episode and still be fine.

Spaced is damn awesome. I have the complete series on DVD, and man is it worth it.

I still think Black Books is the superior British sitcom, though. Maybe I just have a thing for crabby Irish booksellers.

I like the one where they try to replace this hyperexpesive bottle of wine with other wines and crap lying around the house.

And the one where he asks for his lolly and it's a bottle of wine frozen on a stick.
