Unfortunately, they aren't finished raping Batgirl's dead corpse of acharacter yet. We still have Beechans *shiver* mini-series for Batgirl coming up that reestablishes her character post-turning her into the leader of the League of Assassins and having her try to kill Robin and so on.
I'm going to be horrifically disappointed if they don't meet up again at some point in the near future since Dixon is largely responsible for writing both characters these days. It's be super easy for him to just have Batgirl show up in Robin or something since he doesn't have to worry about what else might be going on with her.

It'd be a funny team, but I bet Stephanie would be attached to Tim if anyone post-RIP, and Beechen of all people seems to be the only one who gives Batgirl her due as being someone who could protect Gotham.

Yeah, but the problem is that his storyline had a whole bunch of plot points that just don't make sense, and even a passing familiarity with the character can reveal why they don't make sense. Like an illiterate character being able to write in Navajo code. And heck, the last story arc of the Batgirl book practically handed him a rationale for a heel turn on a silver platter, but for some reason he didn't use it. I still don't get that.
I'm willing to give him a second chance because in every interview he seems pretty thoughtful and to have a desire to redeem himself. I'm still not sold on a lot of his ideas, but at least it seems like the new book is actually going to be about Batgirl and not some strange, stereotypical Dragon Lady using her name.

No, not a yu-gi-oh reference, a yu-gi-oh the abridged series reference. Reference to parody series mocking the original does not equal reference to the original. And if you haven't watched yu-gi-oh the abridged series you're missing out.
