Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

"The film investigates the newest wave of hip hop, nerdcore, as it follows the godfather of the genre, MC Frontalot, on his first national tour. Beginning in South Carolina and culminating at the Penny Arcade Gaming Convention in Seattle, masses of fans across the country come out to hear Frontalot's music as he strives to achieve mainstream success."
I was driving some out-of-towner friends around, and I kept complaining about being blinded. They responded with "You see, where we come from, people tend to wear Sunglasses." I retorted with a simple "You people tend to have sun."

"Oh, PAX. I can't say anything about PAX yet but obviously it would be awesome if we could screen there. If something is in the works it'll be official soon.
What about Nerdcore For Life?
I'd like to see both.
IMO Nerdcore for Life is probably a lot better (having not seen either film). One is all about Frontalot, and one is about Frontalot AND tons of other bands, including my favorite Nerdcore act: Optimus Rhyme.
Nerdcore for Life supposedly covers a lot more in their film (I also think they filmed at PAX). While I wouldn't mind seeing both, I'd make more of an effort to see that one.
Ehh, Frontalot is only in NC4L a little bit. No interviews, anyways. But yeah, the movie is awesome, I saw it on saturday. Dan's an awesome guy, and I hope the documentary gets played during PAX!

Nerdcore Rising isn't just about Frontalot (altho it does follow him) I saw the screening in OKC a few months ago and it was awesome! I'd be amazed if Nerdcore for Life was better, Nerdcore Rising has really really funny interviews all the way through and is a solid documentary. Sometimes focus is good
Nerdcore for Life looks like it overlaps Front's concert on Sat. night whereas Nerdcore Rising is shown earlier. Live nerdcore trumps filmed nerdcore in my book! Too bad they make you choose between them, though.
Looking at the schedule again, Nerdcore for Life is from 10 - 11:30 PM. Front will probably go from 11:30-12:30. Tight squeeze, but might be able to make both.

Add another to the heap of people who want to view.
I dont plan on traveling across the country to watch a movie
So, that a yes, then?
