They were made to tell the stories of the victims of that big earthquake in China last month.
So yeah, not so much with the propaganda.
If it's Chinese propoganda then it's propoganda the Chinese government doesn't want their citizens to see.
Ah, thanks for that. I've seen too much Chinese propaganda to be charmed by these comics, but I can't deny the awesomeness of someone putting efforts into translating all those stories into a readable format.

They were all very touching, but "the last lesson" made me tear up. But I wiped it before a tear could form, so my masculinity is still intact.
Seriously, though, who cares about propaganda (if it even is progaganda). The Earthquake was a tragedy and the rescue workers are heroes who deserve to be celebrated.
I'm going to vote this five stars the moment I figure out how.

Yeah. I guess the idea was just to lighten the mood by telling some less tragic stories, but... yeah. Didn't really quite work out.
