The Cat is annoying, but I think the post in question goes overboard into inappropriateness. Plus, you can't fight fire with fire too effectively on a forum because then you just have an explosion on your hands.

But, Henroid, you completely lost me at "3 stars." How do you go from admonishing saint2e and Detharin to giving this post three stars, an average score? Boggle.

this post isn't awesome, and if you think it is you're an idiot. How about that? The fact that all any of these flames ever consist of is some tired and cliche comments based in some way on the cat's (admittedly wretched) sex is sad enough, but it's a particular waste when you're dealing with someone as suffused with character flaws as the cat. Until you can come up with an insult that doesn't reveal embarassingly to the world the fact that your mother never really loved you and ruh roh, you never learned to deal with it, stay away from both the post reply button and the report button.

I think that covered everything.

What Tube said. Deth's post was appalling, and all the people who said it was awesome are also appalling. Even if Cat was the biggest troll in the history of trolldom and lived under an actual bridge and dined on nothing but billy goats, that post would be appalling.
