Why the hell are these so popular? Sure, they're sleek, but that doesn't make up for all the limitations and the exclusion of important features.

    I got a gen1 shuffle a few years back as a business gift for signing up to a middleware course. It's a bit old now, so I'm thinking of replacing it when I hit duty free on the way to PAX.

    80 gig ipod I got for christmas. It is pretty sweet, but I'm fairly sure it's either not a perfect unit or the whole line is a bit off. The touch wheel is really unresponsive sometimes.
