360 Wireless Bridge

Hey, if I want to take my Xbox 360 online wirelessly, do I need to buy the official wireless bridge thingie, or will any old cheapass product do the job? Thanks.

    There was a thread in H/A about this a few weeks ago. I think people said you could use the original Xbox adapter, which is significantly cheaper.
