The official announcement is that it has been canceled! (Kidding.)
Anyway, this is news to me: the Wiimake of Mario Tennis GC is out in Japan in January. I didn't realize Mario Tennis was getting this treatment, but I'm excited for a chance at a good full-fledged tennis game on Wii.

I wonder if they will be adding anything new to it. New characters or courts, perhaps?

Given what they're doing with Jungle Beat, it's a possibility.
Count me as a staunch Bongo Defense Force member, though—the thought of playing the game without the bongos makes me terribly sad. I suppose that traditional controls are better than the aberration of trying to DK Barrel Blast the game's mechanics, but I'm assuming the original game's design couldn't really hold up without the bongo interaction, which is why they're adding stuff. The feeling of wailing the shit out of those drums was so exciting. My four bongos languish in a closet somewhere.
Oh man I have been wanting a new Mario Tennis game for years and years.
By my understanding Nintendo doesn't want to do either Golf or Tennis without Camelot. And Camelot is currently working on other projects.
Camelot released a golf game of its own for the Wii.
Did anyone pick this up? I was curious as all hell about We Love Golf, especially since it's from Camelot and it has online play, but it completely dropped off the radar and I haven't seen a soul admit to buying it. It's on my Goozex cue but even there only a scant few titles have even changed hands.
While much of EGM’s ‘Rumor Mill’ contents end up being accurate, in this case the report is incorrect.
We have never announced that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers has been cancelled and have every intention of releasing it. There may be some concerns as a firm ship date has not been set but rest assured there will be an announcement once we finalize the date internally.
Although there are many Square Enix related rumors out there that we do not comment on, due to the feedback from the readers, we felt it was necessary to provide a statement to alleviate the worries of those who are looking forward to the game. The fan base that the Final Fantasy series has is appreciated by everyone at Square Enix (not only the developers) so we hope this statement will prevent any further spreading of the rumor.
We apologize for any unnecessary distress this rumor may have caused and hope the fans of the series can again look forward to the upcoming release of Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers.” - Square-Enix statement
"Ignore the fact that all we've ever shown of the game for over 2 years is a very brief trailer. We're just having trouble nailing down a release date!"
Just hate to see you fellas getting your hopes up.

great art direction and nice, gritty old-school atmosphere, buuuut it had bad controls that sap any real fun out of it. Roguelikes are usually turn-based for a reason.
However, I think it goes for 450 points or so on goozex...

It's going for 500. Wish I had known about the Amazon deal before I got matched up for it. Oh well.

I forgot all about Baroque. Did it turn out to be any good?
So, I just got it today from Goozex and have put a few hours into it. Controlling the camera is a bit of a pain, as is throwing items. Also, I have no idea what the hell is going on or what items do, but I think that's supposed to be the case. So far, I've definitely enjoyed it, but I can see why other people wouldn't like it.

Wow, Operation Darkness for $20 already? It must have bombed.
I'm not surprised Spectral Force 3 did, but Operation Darkness had a lot more positive hype going for it.
I think it depends on where you live. That was the last I heard anyways, several months ago. I know the Wal-marts and Kmarts and whatnot have a hell of a time keeping accessories in stock. It was a damn Quest to find three wheels and two wii motes. A months-long quest.
it's more or less the best it's ever been, meaning you could likely find one if you wanted to but stores being temporarily out of stock still isn't all that surprising
was at my local costco yesterday, and they had a bunch of em i think, they had these cardboard sleeves which i am assuming was so you could collect it at the register
i also saw a bundle at walmart on the shelves. i haven't seen anything there in a long ass time
check toysrus.com
at least when they had their buy 2 get 1 free thing, they had bundles in stock

I saw a big ol pile of Wiis in best buy a couple days ago. If you get on it now, it should be easy to get one. Wait till after thanksgiving though and you'll be fucked.

maybe. I wouldn't be surprised if this year's supply turns out to be far more adequate than previous holiday seasons.
if anyone is looking to buy a product and flip it for profit, it should be guitar hero: WT. Come December, an unopened box is going to fetch quite a pretty penny.

GHWT/Rock band costs a small fortune to ship. A ton of people are buying the Special Edition of Rock Band 1 because it is cheaper and available. Add the RB2 disc only and you're set for less than the whole set for 2.
The holy grail of Wii flipping is Wii Sports. Used runs you $9.99 at Gamestop, it is very common, and sells for double+, most likely more as the holidays approach.

WHAT
Internet, don't let me down.
Don't except anything else than typical PR-bullshit answer.

True.
