    I dunno, they're okay.

    Whenever I feel like partying, that's the CD to listen to. Otherwise I'm indifferent.

    Also, Jesse Hughes sounds way too much like the guy from Modest Mouse at times. I hate Modest Mouse.

    this band is alright. I do really like some of their songs, but their stuff is just so formulaic.

    I'm not trying to be a party pooper. I am excited to hear what the third one sounds like -- I just hope its something a little different.

    "The Eagles of Death Metal" is how Josh Homme described Vader when he was trying to get his friend to listen to him. They liked the expression they named their new band after it. What a nice story.

    In the fall of 2006 the band had an opening support slot with Guns N' Roses. During the first concert with Guns N' Roses, in Cleveland, Ohio on November 24, 2006, the band was not well received by the crowd at all. When Axl Rose came out to perform, he asked the crowd if they enjoyed "the Pigeons of Shit Metal," and announced that the show would be their last with Guns N' Roses.
