Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
So, I have an apartment now, and its carpeted. So I need a vacuum cleaner to clean it. It probably has 500 square feet of carpet, so I don't need anything too big. I'd like to spend around $100 at most, but am willing to spend more if necessary. I know nothing about vacume cleaners.
Any recommendations?
edit: So, I can't spell vacuum right either. Thats how little I know about the subject.
I recommend bag-less, that's it, anything else is really a matter of taste and what extensions you need (comes with everything you usually need anyways). There's nothing more annoying than fiddling with a bag in a vacuum, sure bag-less ones tend to be messier if you're a clumsy moron, but it's so awesome to just take it out, dump it, and put it back in instead of messing around for 30 minutes and then finding out the bag popped off for some reason.
Did I mention I hate bagged vacuums?
Edit:
I also recommend Bissel vacuums, I've had nothing but good luck with them. Dirt devil has been hit or miss with me.

Inexpensive, light and the handle folds down so it takes up less storage.
