Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Narrative would be nice, but I only see need for a map if there is serious chance of failure. Do we need to roll more checks? I don't think we know what to do next is the thing.

Yeah I'm fine without a map. I was just waiting for the next round and figured you were busy.

I guess it would have helped if I put in the footer that calls for rolls too. lol... sorry! the prompt has been added! xD

if the narrative ending part of that needs more fleshing out, lmk though.

Can the grapple things hook onto the drifts? Or do they only hook onto anchor stones like the fort has?

  • DenadaDenada Registered User regular
They can hook on to the drifts. They're attracted to the corestones at the center of every drift. They also work on corestone-powered ships.

  • tastydonutstastydonuts Registered User regular
    yep, Denada is right.

They won't work on the Ranstead since it's not powered by a corestone.

Lol. @Tofystedeth. That did not work so great for the last guy who insisted that we "watch who he soars."

Next time on Team Zephyr, World Police: Eron gets impaled by the only jagged drift in the area.

Were we all on the same drift at the start of this turn? More importantly, was Finn on the same drift with Eron and Ousaniel?

I'm starting to run out of justifications for triple nature rolls.

YEaaaaa... so I'm in training for the next two days and I had to spend Friday/Monday making sure that I don't fall behind IRL since I'm offsite and all now.

Since this is primarily a text update, I'll try and get one up soonish. THINGS SHALL GET INTERESTING! For sure.

I really hate how pressing backspace randomly sends me back a page while I'm typing... :|

Just a reminder - everybody has a +5 to non-combat stealth checks right now. In case some of you are looking to 'mix it up' and try a different skill. :)

Also, it probably won't matter, but Keegan gets an extra +5 on his last stealth roll.

hmm... I'll push an update out a little later today, and pretend that Anialos posted for this round... o_o

Welp, egg on my face. I'd prefer hanging on till we can jump to a lower platform.

These are not Finn's best skills, so I would also be in favor of the lower docking things. Especially seeing how much of a challenge it's been for Ousaniel to get any decent rolls... :)

  • TofystedethTofystedeth veni, veneri, vamoosi Registered User regular
If it doesn't involve Nature, or potentially stealth I'm agin' it.

Although Keegan would absolutely jump on ahead for the sake of jumping on ahead, he is also willing to wait with his companions so that he doesn't die when he gets there. So I guess we're waiting for the lower dock.

She is carrying the bomb, guys. I mean, it kind of makes sense that she's having a hard time. I'm just saying.

Higher platform is a sneakier infiltration since it's harder to get to, so we'd have more surprise up there. That said, maybe we just play it safe and go low.

I like how that is being RP'ed out. Rais can carry it a lot easier than Ousaniel. And he has wings. But you can't trust the Merkaban, right? :P

Sorry, been kind of distracted busy rolling a fairly large rock up a hill. We'll shoot for an update featuring you guys crashing into Huxby's base and falling down to your deaths and never having your bodies be found because of the sand hurricane today.

Speaking of rocks and fairly large hills - I'm going to be out next week for a family vacation to the grand canyon. I don't know what kind of connectivity I'll have in the hotel there, but I'll try to keep in touch. If I lag too much, I'm okay with others making Finn's move for him, or just skipping him

Be sure to give Finn a dramatic death. :P

What the hell is the fantasy equivalent of a security camera?

Visually there's scrying lenses. Then there's various types of wards and barriers.

Is there a visible scrying lens outside the door? I'd like to think asking about one indicates that she's looking for one to shoot. Because that's how someone Int 10 deals with magicumal things.

I'll have to double check tomorrow, but I do believe that none of your passives beat the general DC to observe such a thing.

So you'd have to roll a check to hit the stack.

I was kinda busy today though so I couldn't get the update out. Will shoot for tomorrow
