Where the hell is my Lost Kingdoms 3, damnit?

I expect this thread will gather replies from all 3 of you who actually played both games, and then quickly fall off the front page. Which is fine, this is mostly a rant anyway.

In Lost Kingdoms 1, the final boss is the God of Destruction. In Lost Kingdoms 2 is was the God of Harmony. It's been a few years, but I distinctly remember that after the GoH fight, the plot seem to suggest a third God on a different continent, and basically left the door wide open for a trilogy closing sequel.

That never happened.

That was over five years ago!

I smolder with generic rage.

It would work particular well on the Wii. A tossing motion could be used to play a card, buttons to draw or discard or what have you. A pointer to pick where to go or what enemy to fight. And it could be really pretty, but LK has never been very good in this department anyway.

I would also accept an 360 game with standard controls, but From Software is a Japanese company so that's not entirely likely.

I know it isn't the same but if you haven't played it Baiten Kaitos Origins has the best card based battle system ever. Best turned based system ever actually.

I got both off ebay a couple years ago for about 10 bucks each, beat both, I had a lot of fun with them, a sequel would be cool. One change that annoyed the crap out of me was that Lost Kingdoms 1 ran at 60fps, but then part 2 cut to 30fps, but the battles were real-time and not randomly initiated (which was cool).

Good games. I was actually beginning to think I'd dreamed them. I may have to see if my friend still owns them.

I'd buy this in a hot second as long as there were no retarded-AI escort missions like that one in 2 where moron-boy kept rushing into enemies.

It would be nice to have a third, but From Software has a lot of stuff on their plate.
