Way too late for this year... and probably a logistics nightmare & unrealistic to implement any year... but with all these pre-pax breakfasts, meets, walks, electric slide contests... ok I made that one up but you get the point... we might as well just get a permit & have a bigass parade to kick off PAX... it'd be more interesting than sitting in line anyway.
We got companies with mascots & characters already showing up... we got people who dress up, and everyone else could just march along or watch... could even have one of the bands perform on a float *(back of a pickup truck)
... also... Seafair Pirates... cuz PAX is near Seafair & pirates are cool.
Someone could make big Gabe & Tycho foam suits & they could be the grandmarshalls on the final float... it'd be even more fun if Jerry & Mike had to be in the suits.
I'm only 48.6% serious of course cuz it all sounds rather complicated... but feel free to input awesome float ideas

ElectricTurtle, always agreeing with me. That's it, I guess I have to go to the Pre-PAX dinner now. I went last year cause I liked the restaurant, but this year I just wasn't sure on the choice of venue (but agree that it makes things more manageable).
