Updated the list to better resemble a list of Achievements, complete with past tense verbiage and goofy names. Added a couple more achivements while I was at it, and the names of some others (let the speculations begin!).

Also, this is still a rough version of the list, as I will order them by point values soon and hopefully have icons for each one.

    questions:
    can #3 be ANY mullet?
    what exactly does #4 mean?
when might we find out about these named but secret achievements? just when somebody accidentally gets them? :) and i assume the ones without names just haven't been decided upon yet.
with #35, will spray deoderant count?

also, i just bought a new $300 camera for this, since otherwise i'd be using the celly cam. can't wait!

#3 Any Mullet, preferably with some Solid Snake resemblance.

I may toss #4, I dunno if any G4 people will be there. If so, they can flip you off or stick their tongue out or even bite their thumb.

    #35, Spray != Stick.

By the Thursday before PAX, all the achievements will be known, they're just secret for now.

This is basically impossible. Some of the items on this list are really stupid, and highly unlikely they will ever happen at PAX. Sorry, but with 50 items you are going to have to make them a lot easier. Otherwise the people participating will not enjoy pax, and will stalk Crecente instead.

Edit: Also, #40 might not be comfortable for another female attendee. Also, there is a high chance that there will not be anyone in attendance with a PVP or CAD shirt.

Basically, I don't know if anyone should waste their time on a scavenger hunt of this magnitude unless the prize is a Car or House, and the people participating don't plan on winning.

And yes, I understand you don't need ALL of the items to win.

I myself am a comfortable to be around, friendly, female attendee who will be wearing my CAD shirt. The whole point of doing this is A) to meet people and B) to have fun.

You can brag if you win, but don't cry if you lose.

Wrex, Janky or not does not meet criteria for number 5.

It has to be a character who is not primarily known from Video Games.

    Here were today's additions:

    7. Lightpole Sitta: Stood under a Pax Street Sign.
    9. The Face Melter: Face signed by a PAX performing Band.
    10. The Rocker: Played a Rhythm Game with a person dressed as an 80s Rocker Cliche.
    14. Serious Business: Struck a serious pose with an attendee in a 3-piece suit.
    15. Tale of Two Coffees: Enjoyed a cup of joe courtesy of Seattle's Best Coffee or Starbucks.
    17. Pistol Pete: Played the original Halo in the Console Freeplay.
    20. Not a Team Player: Fooled a member of the Sony PR team into holding Microsoft or Nintendo Memorabilia.
    24. Easier than a Bra Clasp: One Rubiks Cube, Solved.
    47. Siete: Played the real version of Uno at the Tabletop room.
    48. Keep Your Enemies Closer: Cooperated with another Savenger Hunt Participant.
    50. Efficiency: Completed at least 3 achievements in one photo.

I'm not saying 5, Badman, Wrex would fall under the "Fist Pound A Member Of the (Fictional and/or Real) Military" achievement.

Also A Tale of Two Coffees is awesome, and I shall hit that achievement every damn morning.

Qs, you rock =) The 'cube gives me... great difficulty. =)

Oh, I can solve it... but generally the way I solve it involves:

    1) A hammer
    2) Some superglue

And you can't really play it anymore afterwords. =) lol

VT there is a simpler way of breaking the cube that doesn't involve a hammer. If you bring one (since I left mine at home it seems. Yes, I technically have started my PAX vacation a week early.) I can easily show you.

how many of you all are actually participating in this? i'm having fun with it so far, but a couple are a bit frustrating. for example, i have no idea who evilbadman or crecente actually are, or more importantly, what they look like and where to find them. so i'm kinda leaving those out. the ones i've got so far are: 1-6, 9, 12, 18, 19, 21, 24, 27-29, 31, 33-35, 38, 41, 43, and 48-50, for a current total of 460 points.

one request, though: if anyone in byoc has a memory card reader with a pro duo slot, please let me borrow it for a minute. if you have one, please pm me. thankyou.

also, i bought a 20 sided di for the achievement requiring one, so if anyone wants to borrow that, just ask.

I'm working on it... I've got a pretty solid list completed, but I TOTALLY forgot that I had to be in the picture for a few of them on Friday...

May I ask for at least partial credit for the pictures I can't re-take? *laugh*

so, since there's no prize here, i'm going to go ahead and count my 2 achievements that i took without me in them, but give myself a 50% penalty! here is my flickr photo group for the scavenger hunt. by my math, i amassed 605 points, with 150 of them being from a single photo! also, for the cheek kiss, i got the chick with the white contacts in the back right of the exhibition hall to do it, she was awesome! i asked her if she would, and she got all excited and jumped up and kissed me, then i told her i had to get a picture, so she did it again! fun times.

According to my math and including a 50% penalty for the 2 pictures that did not include me... I've got 659.5!!

congrats. there were quite a few easy ones i didn't get around to doing, like the sunday badge, giving an enforcer a piggy back ride, playing halo, or the tf2 taunt. the problem is there wasn't much incentive in this competition.
