Games are 5:00 qtrs, All Pro difficulty (default I believe) and there is a playoff. Unfortunately there are no divisions so everyone has to play everyone else once.

So join up. Trades are allowed but only with players with a similar amount of games. Meaning if you've played 15 of your games, you can't trade a great player to a forumer who has only played 3 of his in order to help him out.

Replying to the no midnight release thing.

My brother attended a midnight release at the same place last year, pretty much the reason I preordered it there. I called after making it and asking after seeing that they weren't on the list. They were not.

Now, now I pull my preorder out and do it at one that is this late in the game?

That's what a lot of stores do. They try to get everyone to pay off the game by 11-11:30 so they can hand you a receipt.

And then at midnight you just hand them the receipt, they scan the game and hand it to you, making everything go much much quicker.

I'd just get there and take care of that before like 11:30 and seems like it'd be fine.. at least at my store it is.

There's a thread at the Sportsgamer forums where people were posting up custom covers with all different players. I'll look and see if I can find a Welker one for you.

Edit: That site is busy as hell right now with Madden coming out in a few hours.

Who wants a curse? Since 06 I've been playing Tom Brady on my cover and I feel as though I want to change it up, and I figure why not go with my favorite player.

Though if the curse does work that way, anyone got a custom cover with all the NY Giants on it?

Its hard to say. We need to get more consistent before we can figure out the real gaps. Both sides of the ball seem to play good one week, and bad the next.

Yeah, somtimes they'll play stupid ass shit about cheerleaders and what not. I swear, if NFL network isn't playing NFL total Access, a game of the week, a classic super-bowl, or something along those lines, they're doing something terrificially wrong.

I moved from a house that had DirecTV to one that didn't, and my life got a lot worse from the lack of NFL Network. Best network ever.

We did the exact same thing.

Except when I move next month I'm canceling it at my parents' house and putting it on the bill at my house. The sports package with Comcast plus the HD channels adds up though.

I really want DirecTV and Sunday Ticket but I can't afford that right now. I'm hoping next year.

I'm really hoping my new place/college/dorm thing has at least one TV playing Pats games, because I think going to a bar where people are watching the bears get systematically destroyed, then seeing this chubby kid with a baby face in a Pats Jersy jumping up and down at our 8th TD in 2 quarters, won't go over well.
