I just got this in the mail from Rogers and holy fuck I have not seen this in a very very long time and it rules.

    I read an issue of Reanimator vs. Army of Darkness.

    It involved Ash, H.P. Lovecraft and Lewis Carroll fighting demonic renditions of Carrollian story characters.

    In any other context, it'd be completely badass, but I bought the book expecting... well, Reanimator vs. Army of Darkness.

    The first I ever knew about it was my older friends popping in the unrated version and forcing me to watch it through. At a sleepover. At 2 in the morning. In a room with more window space than walls. In the middle of a lonely fucking ranch with no neighboring houses and a mental hospital just up the hill that people occasionally escaped from to kill people on the ranch (no I am not fucking joking it is horrible and has happened twice). Oh, and I was 7. Did I mention it was the MOTHERFUCKING UNRATED version?

    I've added Bride of Re-Animator and Beyond Re-Animator to my queue. Probably going to be buying the original on DVD this weekend.

    Maybe I should hold out for the Blu-Ray, though...
