Next time it's my turn I am curing black! The luck I am getting in this game totally balances out the luck I am having in the BSG one.

I guess Ianator should try setting up trades with other people on his turn. My hand is already very full with six cards, but it will soon be empty again. If you could try to pick up blue or oranges from other people to get to be Ianator that could maybe work.

I think after I cure it we can treat the remaining cubes to eradicate it as well. But maybe I'm interpreting the rules wrong.

Since Inquisitor's hand is so full right now, I'm going to hold my Blues for now and make a Research Center in Shanghai. That'll give us a good spread for Shuttle Flights, plus another place to research cures.

Any other suggestions?

Cool, every things looking pretty solid for now. We probably should be getting ready for another epidemic soon though, it has been a while.

Krata and Akinos, you two should probably focus on clearing out some cubes or playing any cool relevant action cards you have.

Ianator and Akinos are well poised to go treat outbreaks anywhere right now, as you can hop between research stations easily.

We have quite a few event cards that will let us survive the next Epidemic mostly unscathed (One Quiet Night, I can rearrange the top of the deck, etc).

edit: Are we playing with 4 or 5 Epidemics?

Also Krata can slap down a research center anywhere on the board, meaning if an area does get really bad we can just place a research center there to relocate quickly too.

Speaking of those special events, is there any contingencies you want to set up for those?

Like, say, when the next Epidemic hits, do you want to automatically use One Quiet Night to stop the Infector for that turn?

EDIT: And yeah, we're playing with four. With the luck you guys have had, you probably could've taken five.

Good idea PMAvers.

Another idea that just came to me is playing resilient population on the city where the epidemic hits. That way it can't be drawn again thus triggering and outbreak.

Edit: I'm kind of thinking an all out special card blitz might be in order when the next epidemic hits.

You know, all quiet night so there are no draws on that turn. Then remove the city that got hit from the epidemic from the list, and then arrange the top six how we like. Wham bam, instant damage control. The epidemic shouldn't even put a dent in our stride and we should get black and blue/orange cured in no time.

Lots of good ideas. If you Resilient Population the only city with 3 cubes on it, we're safe until a city has 3. When a city has 3, we can use One Silent Night. Turn after that I can use Forecast, though it is likely that someone will have treated the 3-cube city already.

Your plan I think is better than mine Akinos. Yours is more flexible and lets us respond to surprised better.

I now have three Blues, giving me three to .

Two more and I can Cure Blue. If anyone wants to hope over here and help me clean them out (and then if Ianator wants to send me his two), we can Eradicate blue inside of another two rounds if we get lucky.

Hmm... I've got a little situation.

Krata's next, right? I could take a shuttle to Atlanta and give him my Blues, but he'd be a bit over max hand size, either using or discarding two cards. I'm thinking he could use his One Quiet Night and discard Cairo to fit enough Blues to get another cure.

Any more ideas?

I wouldn't mind him playing one quiet night at this phase.

I mean, it will basically delay the infections by one turn for the rest of the game so, it's not really a waste.
