I am thinking of getting a mini fridge for my room. Does anyone have any reccomendations?

make sure you dont get a loud one if you have trouble sleeping with constant droning noises.

Make sure you actually get a fridge and not a chiller. A lot of the little things sold as 'mini-fridges' are only suitable for cans and such and are not safe for meat and dairy products.

make sure you have a way to keep your room cool (besides leaving the fridge door open) those suckers put of allot of heat.

as for getting one, i got mine through targets back to school sale. If they have them again this year they should be going on clearance about now.

Yeah, I was looking at getting one too. Sorry to hijack, but I did a bit of research and this seems alright:

I wonder how loud they are...It is kinda large compared to the smallest. There seems to be only 2 sizes. this, or teh small.

I bought a cheap mini fridge off of walmart, and a couple fans to move more air from the AC. So far no heating problems, and the room actually feels cooler. I should get more fans. The noise is negligible. The fans are louder.

So far so good. This was a good idea.
