You have been nominated as a potential recruit for a top-secret multi-national military task force of the highest calibre. As a top representative in your field of expertise, you would be a valuable asset for the X-Com force in the coming months.

Make no mistake: this is no PR exercise, milk run or bug hunt. This is a real force assembled to investigate, oppose and interdict an unknown enemy threat of terrestrial proportions. You will be required to enter combat engagements with little or no intelligence on the force or opponents arrayed against you. Casualty rates could climb as high as 80% (predicted).
