nah jordan hill is the best they could hope for.

the rest of the pgs sucked and if he develops into a decent scorer he might be worth something, like a young amare or something.

alright, talking myself into it already

Yeah, I've been hearing for months that the Blazers really like Lee and have been trying to get a package for him, but the contract is a huge one.

They probably get rid of Luke Ridnour and Jennings is insurance in case they can't resign Ramon Sessions.

With enough money it doesn't matter who you have now, you can buy literally an entire championship team out of the summer of 2010.

Lee's a restricted free agent, so his contract depends on what he signs for this summer. He'll probably be looking for 8 figures though, based on his stats.

Yeah its offical. ESPN reported it earlier today that the lakers sold the pick to the Knicks for 3 Mil in Cash so they can pay the luxury tax to resign both Ariza and Odom.

And Nets fans should be excited. T. Wiiliams is the PERFECT replacement for Carter. I've seen a few of his games and the guy is pure NBA talent.

The Lakers can't officially trade their pick because you have to have at least 1 first round pick every 2 years, and they traded last year's to Memphis. But they can pick and then immediately trade the player to get around the rule, and just have an "understanding" with NY.

The way I remember it, they can't trade consecutive "future" draft picks ... but as the pick is not "future" any more (well ... technical it is) they can trade it. Its just they couldn't trade their 2010 and 2011 first rounders now ...

You're right, according to Larry "God of the CBA" Coon. Since the 2008 draft is over, it no longer counts as a future pick. But the Lakers also traded their 2010 pick, so they're stuck either way. They have to at least make the 2009 pick in name.

Yup. Amazing how Joe Dumars DESTROYED this team since they beat the Lakers in the finals for the championship. And I supposed Tayshun Prince is gone due to this pick?

    Daye is 6-10, 190 lbs.

That's skinnier than Shaun Livingston, and Livingston didn't play forward. Forget Melo, he'll get destroyed in the post by Walter Fabio Hermann.

Fun fact - Stuart Scott does NOT have a glass eye:
Stuart's left eye, which is lazy, has also been the focus of attention at various points of his career. Stuart was injured on April 3, 2002[3] in Jets mini-camp when he was doing a special for ESPN. Towards the end of a day at camp against the coach's advice, Stuart was hit in the eye by a football thrown from a JUGS Football Passing Machine. He underwent surgery the day of the injury and was out of work for a couple months.

That story is WAY better than glass eye.

Also, being from Syracuse, I'm glad Flynn went to the T-Wolves. Ive never been into the NBA, but Ill follow wherever he ends up next year (if the Wolves trade him), because he's a great kid. Talking in 3rd person is a bit...odd...but he was a great, mature, and very respectful guy here.

LOL Dickie V acting like lottery teams should take Hansbrough because "he can contribute immediately."

Um, Dick - most teams aren't in the lottery because they're 1 player away from contending.
