Then a second young one showed and it too became like a pet.
Really, everyone else had cats. We had goddamn weasels. They would lay around on our porch and sun tan and go hunting mice and squirrels.
I hear ferrets are pretty smelly.
Like, a sort of smell you get used to, then company comes over and gags on this horrible stink that you don't even notice anymore.
That's okay, my boyfriend is pretty smelly too
