Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Speaking of Digsby, has anyone else had issues with MSN file transfers over it? I've had 2 instances where someone tried to send me a file, and got the "Waiting for response" on their end, but nothing came up for me.

yea, file transfers aren't perfect on it, but honestly, I can't remember the last time I ever did a file transfer over IM, other than to test it in Digsby.

Hah, I'd use 'em. If they ever fucking worked. I mean, finding ways to send big files to people is hard.

Yeah, there are tons of methods available out there which are superior to file transfer, but not a lot of my friends know about them/know enough about computers to use them. :P
File transfer just happens to be a quick and dirty way to get it done.

I had to switch back to the WLM beta earlier to do the file transfer through that, and I see what people mean about the large amount of space taken up by the display pics. I'd never have noticed that if I didn't move to Digsby

Ditto that - just started using it, and I rather like it so far.

Has anyone gotten the Facebook integration working? I read that it's supposed to have an FB pop-up asking for your password because Digsby uses the FB API. I actually find this confusing, since it doesn't do it this way when you set up FB chat.

Works for me. I added Facebook in my accounts area, a little popup came up when it tried to log in (or something, I can't remember exactly when) asking for my user/pass. Then I think it made me log into facebook again or something.

I dunno. I do remember a popup asking for a user/pass, and it makes you choose whether to install something on your facebook that lets it work with Digsby. Or something.

If you've got Noscript on, make sure to uh... not have it block fb. That was an issue for me at first, since I hardly ever go there.

Ah, I've got it. I don't use Noscript, but I have Privoxy, which was blocking it. Thanks, Seeks.
