I got shipped off to Cambridge for work a while back. Hotel was across the street (literally) from Harvard. Work was 2 stops away via subway and (also literally) across the street from MIT.
The thing I remember the most about Cambridge was how dead it was after like 10 PM. No bars open. No late nite gyros. Those people are fucking lightweights. You can't get drunk or find something to throw up after anywhere.
Couldn't even find like a 7-11 to get some snacks at midnight (3 hours difference + a red eye flight had my schedule way off). Just dark empty fucking streets except for one little plaza near one of the train stations where there were some scientologists and the east cost equivalent of a Rite Aid.
Shit dude you're not kidding. This city shuts down wicked early.
There are a few bars around Harvard that stay open reasonably late and I think the Pinocchio's Pizza stays open more or less all night.
I thought Toronto was at the nothern end of Ontario? I don't know Canadian geography at all.
Toronto is pretty damn close to the states from a canada perspective. If you end up passing through Ohio you can come be a hippie at kent state and put flowers in guns/throw rocks at the national guard/party hearty with Edward.
i'm not even having fun here. i'm sitting in a hotel room working all day and tomorrow i will be in a stupid back room behind a one-way mirror working 12 hours and then sleeping, repeating the process wednesday, and then coming home on another 9 hour flight thursday to collapse in exhaustion on my bed back home

I always assumed that once you were a lawyer large bags of cash spontaneously generated in your hands
The cash is a lie.
Kilroy: It's full of assholes, it makes you cynical and jaded, jobs are hard to find, and most of law school you learn stuff that's anything BUT the practical skills you need to actually be a lawyer

You'll be a leech on your clients soon enough! :P
This girl was raped in a privately run prison, parents are suing.
Boston legal team sues the prison on a negligence theory rather than respondiat superior. Not sure on that one.
Also being a lawyer ruins everything.
1 hit kills
Golden guns: the best of both worlds.

totally calling it Viva Piñata though
What's wrong with a negligence theory? Doesn't res sup fall under general negligence claims anyway?
