Okay, so I was happy that I wouldn't have to use itunes, but it became a necessity today when I was given a new nano.
I primarily use windows media player and my library is pretty efficient and well kept over there, and within the music folder, so I decided not to let itunes mess that whole sorting up by moving everything to it's folder structure and such.
I'm running into a problem that I had with itunes before: It will recognize certain songs, and add them to the library, but it'll completely neglect that others exist, even though the physical mp3 lies in the same folder as the mp3 that's being recognized. It. Is. Frustrating.
What can I do?
