I work under a Davox Administrator as a "Davox Support Technician" - my duties include setting up our campaigns and dialer for the day, among other database management and reporting.

Is there a prerequisite for this position and what the pay grade is? I'm thinking $40k a year is reasonable for the amount of work vs. actual experience I have. I'm awaiting a review to take place within the next 2 weeks and found out that my HR dept has to "scout" what the job pays and is worth in order for management to give me a raise. I just don't want to get short-changed.

I have no idea what it pays, but why not do your own searching on various job search engines? You can also check out http://www.bls.gov/ and see what they have to say. You'll have to do a bit of reading on there, most likely, but they break down jobs into a bunch of different categories and then have pay scales broken down to the city level. It probably doesn't have "Davox Support Technician" specifically, but should have something that is more generic but similar.

I've searched "Davox" and come up with literally nothing, which leads me to believe I need a more generic job title, like "Dialer Support" - even "dialer" comes up with 0 results that apply - most are sales positions. Mine is basically IT Help Desk with some Data Analyst thrown in.

Depends on where you live. Based on that site Jimmy King linked, I'd guess you'd be classified as a Computer Support Specialist, or possibly Communications Equipment Operator, though there may be a better fit there.

Here are the relevant positions/ranges that I think may apply. Things are looking good, from a government-reporting standpoint.
