Haven't heard anything on this until just a few moments ago, so I figured I'd share the trailer with the rest of the class.

Little Mac seems to have aged quite a bit. (edit: nevermind, looks like it's just a weird blueish coloring to his hair)
I like the visual style there, hopefully it doesn't change much between now and whenever it eventually comes out.

    This looks so fucking great.

Maybe it's just the different angle, but Little Mac doesn't seem as little as he used to be.

This makes me wish we had Super Punch Out on VC. The first one is good but I always preferred the sequel.

I totally listen to the Punch-Out theme while at work to get pumped up.

I may have to dust off the Wii for this... I've been hoping for this since the Wii was released.

I'm really excited for this game, which is the main reason I'm dreading it.

I loved Punch Out as a kid and the very first thing I thought of when I saw Wii Boxing was 'take this further and put Little Mac in there and you can't lose.

Unfortunately, I thought the same thing about Wii Baseball and Super Mario Sluggers, and look how that turned out.

Who will be the end boss? Mike Tyson? Mr. Dream?

Or will they just skip the "dream bout" and end with Super Macho Man?

If they use Mr. Dream, I hope they completely redo his character model. He looked like a complete tool in the NES game.

Unless specifically noted that a game is WiiWare, it's probably a retail release.

It seems like some people don't understand that the Wii doesn't have as much storage space as the PS3 and 360, which might explain why some people thought Wario Land: Shake It was a WiiWare game.

I really want some new blood in the game. While a Wii-make would be acceptable, Nintendo has enough imagination to infuse some other boxers.

I hope that the controls are a very tight version of Wii boxing if they go the motion route. I get super frustrated sometimes with Wii Boxing and usually end up just flailing around.

I have great confidence that it will work.

    Also vote for new boxer:

Interesting that the SNES version of Punch-Out is nearly forgotten. I thought it was a hoot mesself... I mean, you get to beat the snot out of Bob Marley and a juggling clown, fer chrissake.

Not that I have anything against Bob Marley... I dig his music. But the thought of him as a boxer makes me giggle.

True, but I loved the badass way that Nick would pick himself off the mat like you never actually knocked him down, giving you that stare that said "you got lucky -- now I fuck you up".

EDIT: After watching he videos, apparently that was all in my head. I forgot about the "how could I have let that happen" bit.

if the controls are like some of the configs in Victorious Boxers Revolution (Fighting Spirit) then I'll be happy. Also, those of you who are jonsing for something better than wii boxing go buy VBR, it's fun.

speaking of boxing games, where the hell is my next Fight Night game? Jesus EA turns every series into fricken yearly franchises, then takes a game that actually should be a yearly franchise and burn it down, then piss on the ashes.
