Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
what direction did the series even take? i know it's usually a platform to soapbox for parker and stone but last time i watched it, it seemed to focus more on pop culture

It was awful awful awful.
The Cartman plot was lacking in any comedic value whatsoever, and they already had an episode about Lucas and Spielberg raping their old films. On the other hand, now I have this image to post:
Get all your hate talk out of the way on the first two pages.
I think we're good, that forumer was banned
Good times
The new episode was not the strongest. They've already had an episode where they talked about how Lucas and Spielberg are ruining their classic films, and they spent too much time recreating the rape scene from various movies.
I'm one who stopped watching the new episodes since chef left. I caught about 4 minutes of this newest episode to see what has been going on. I stopped watching when they started
Spoiler:
taking Indy's clothes off
:v:
Yet, I have a friend who just finished watching every single south park episode.

Well I think technically this is just the second half of the season that started earlier this year.
Regardless of what season it is, pretty much all the episodes this year have been weak. The only one that really measured up was the Heavy Metal parody. Everything else has been by the numbers.

Gay people found that episode less funny than straights, on average. I can't figure out why

they need to stop repeating the same jokes over and over in the same episode without added effect
the dick-shooting one in this episode
the not your friend-buddy-guy one in the Canada episode
the how do I reach these keeeeeeeeeeeeeds in the Cartman is a teacher episode
I liked the "I'M NOT YOUR FRIEND, GUY" joke alright, but the dick shooting was barely funny the first time. I mean, and I hate when people say shit like this but whatever, they can do much better.

This latest season isn't the best but they set the bar pretty high after 10 and 11.

All the various rape scenes were hilarious.
it was two jokes, two jokes
this. it was funny every fucking time somehow.
Just in a pool hall, Indy is playing pinball
"Hey there indiana"
"HOLD HIM HOLD HIM"
"SQUEAL SQUEAL!"
"EEEEE EEE"
Except they did some variation on the two jokes
joke #1, butters shooting people in the dick, as follows:
Three or four times. Cartman's line barely changes.
That's all that there is to say.
but hasn't spielberg retained his talent at least a little bit
