    How does the standard point buy system work for DnD? (3.5E)

    8 = 0
    9 = 1
    10 = 2
    11 = 3
    12 = 4
    13 = 5
    14 = 6
    15 = 8
    16 = 10
    17 = 13
    18 = 16

    Standard points is 25, I believe, although I always used 32.

    Hey, did anyone watch The Eleventh Hour last night?

    It kind of had a similar feel to Fringe, except it sucked a whole lot fucking less

    I found that 26 makes for a nice, even spread that, with the attribute progression system allowing you to only give five additional points, keeps everything min/maxed with even numbers. No wasted points.

    Anybody know if I can just mail cash to the PADOT for this fuck $18 turnpike bill?
    It is illegal to mail cash, and stupider than shit.

    Imagine, you're some PADOT bureaucrat, and you open up an envelope containing $18 in cash, no certified mail, no record of you ever having received it. The fuck are you going to do?
    It is illegal to mail cash? Shit. Or are we just talking about the case at hand?
    Apparently, that is a myth.

    However, it being legal does not make it any less dumb.

    I'm not saying it was great, but if I had to pick one of the two, it would certainly be my pick

    mostly because of Rufus Sewell

    Though he's been typecast as a villain ever since Dark City for some reason.

    It seems kind of xfilesee, although it seems less overly supernatural and more quasi-current sciencyish

    the relationship between Sewell's character and the body guard chick was kind of Y The Last Man, which was another thing I kind of enjoyed
