Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

cause that looks mega-cheap
cheap clasps, cheap straps, can't really really tell the nylon quality from that picture though
timbuk2's bags are also more expensive than any damn bag has a right to be
so uh
not really
timbuk2's will survive the nuclear war
easily
because I spent $150 on a goddamn bag
has dick right in the name and everything
I'll probably pick this up when it comes back
GONNA FUCK YOU UP
I'm going to bed I can't have this on my hands
I WANT TO THANK MY COUNTRYMEN AND MY PET COW
The platforming is so good but Faith dies in two melee hits so if you fuck up at all it's game over.
How many bullets can she take?

so you stand there waiting for them to finish and then get shot in the face

Nice animation and the platforming mechanics work quite well
I don't see why you guys don't understand this part of the game. It's a lot more realistic than other games.
No one in their right minds would attack a group of armed men when you can outrun/maneuver them.
Do you gain anything by fighting these dudes? Then why do it?
then you just do another attack, kick the dude in the head and keep moving because it incapacitates them.
I can already tell how cool it's gonna be to get really fast at finding paths and avoiding cops.
Bingo.
You are meant to AVOID the soldiers.
A good player would be the player who beats the game without having to kill a single officer, not the unstoppable killing machine who guns down or beats to death anyone she encounters.
ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE LEVEL BEFORE AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO FOR CERTAIN.
Did you miss the part about me saying how difficult it is to divide them up individually and that even one-on-one it's really easy to fuck up?
seriously. If you can't disarm or just simply kick a dude in the nuts when you have the ability to slow time, then you, quite simply, suck.
and the game
already beat the game
I loved every fucking minute of it.

Also, how long is the story mode?
It's short but I keep replaying levels like mad to fine new ways to get around.
Combat is kinda dry but the real fun is pull off move after move after move so fluidly that you keep your momentum up and oh god the city just looks so pretty I wish it was longer.
Oh and the story is not gonna be winning any awards anytime soon.

The main song for both Mirror's Edge and Portal is titled "Still Alive"

Someone made a level from Mirror's Edge as a portal map, sooo...

It's not like you're Neo in the Matrix or something - you move slowly when you slow down time as well, it just helps you time things better.
And I fucking dare you to get this fight in Chapter Six on the first try.
the dialogue is meh, the story is awful so far but it is so much fun.
There are a bunch for "do x y and z maneuver.
i know how some of my weekend is being spent!
i really liked the 2d online one, too
i am terrible at wall-walking
The story and cutscenes are just plain bad. I can't stand the animation or the dialogue. Combat is fine, but certainly not entertaining enough to take me away from running. So I'm pretty much just pushing through the story mode to unlock the real game, Time Trials. So I guess it's good that the story is so short?
