Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
I was searching for the old thread and couldn't find it.
"SPOILER ALERT." Heheh.
I hate the fact that it is followed by Deal Or No Deal which is the worst show ever fucking made. If I could be God for a day, I would kill those contestants slowly. I wish this fact bitch on right now would fall into a well and die.
Also, I love how all these contestants have such altruistic goals for their money. "I want to build my mom a new house." "I want to cure cancer." "I want to donate half of it to war relief."

Ugh. Gabe has the touch of death this week. Mentions Lost and Office, both episodes are pretty sub-par.
[spoiler:95f0bf7e96]Pretty boring episode. Nothing of substance happened. Jim and Karen didn't get together. Neither did anyone else. There was no awkward Ryan/Kapoors moments. What was Pam trying to do with the text message?[/spoiler:95f0bf7e96]

I thought it was a great episode.
I know that, but [spoiler:389689a045]what would she say to him? She seemed disappointed, like she was expecting something. She even said she expected something to happen that night.[/spoiler:389689a045]
Which Office you like depends on how you see work - if you despise it and are resigned to doing it every day, then you probably like the Brit version. If you go to work every day, knowing that the last day was terrible, but you think that today could be better, you're probably a fan of the US version.

that's pretty retarded
Well they both look at work a little bit differently

You are stupid and wrong.
[spoiler:e95ebf8bcc]No awkward Ryan/Kapoor moments? Are you a retard? "Is there something you wanted to ask us?" It doesn't get more awkward than that shit. The Jim/Karen thing is still interesting, though it wasn't exactly earth shattering. You can read into things a lot with Karen not drinking, and how she acts when Jim is tanked. How did you not understand the text message thing? Did you not see Jim's phone vibrating on his desk? Michael had some glorious shit go on here, it was cringe-inducing. And jesus god there were a couple great and subtle Angela/Dwight scenes too.[/spoiler:e95ebf8bcc]
I am going to assume that either you didn't watch the whole episode or you are just a dumbfuck.
I am on Season Two but I wanted to say that I love The Office.
Season 2 is the zenith of the show.
you should probably stop after the awesomeness that is Casino Night and assume [spoiler:f555925a03]Jim and Pam got together. I know they didnt, but I dont want to spoil it for you, so this is sort of an anti-spoiler.[/spoiler:f555925a03]
[spoiler:9265c68329]The whole "will they, won't they" thing with Jim and Pam getting together is really starting to wear thin with me. I know the old addage in sitcoms is to keep the couple everyone wants together apart. But god damn, this has been going on long enough. [/spoiler:9265c68329]
Spoiler'd for Defender.
Also, someone needs to slap Dwights harpy bitch of a girlfriend silly.

True, but im ready for that to happen now. The whole song and dance of building up suspense has lost its appeal for me. But the writers know what they are doing and will wait until just about everyone is sick and tired of it they will pull the trigger and make it happen.
Man, they don't need to end up together for a great show. Look at the Elliot/JD thing in Scrubs. I'm content just seeing everyone in the Office interacting, especially after the rumored [spoiler:fa78897574]merger of the two offices thats supposed to be happening in the near future[/spoiler:fa78897574]

[spoiler:33d4f9448b]That duality may not last too much longer -- the show has an episode called "The Merger" coming up in a couple of weeks, and the episode description NBC provides makes no secret of the fact that the two branches are combining in some way. That could, however, open up a whole new set of possible stories, and for Kelly, fresh avenues of office gossip.[/spoiler:33d4f9448b]
Wait. OK. So series three? I'm used to there being only 2...
Not being in the US - I kinda did what everyone else did over this way and watched the first few American episodes (where the storyline was a direct reference to the English Version) and thought Meh... Nothing new, just the same old jokes not done as well.
--I'm not doing the standard "linking my enjoyment of The Office to my personal dislike of Bush" thing, just how the 1st 2 episodes played to me.
I gather from this thread that at some point it deviated from the original series. Could someone who is familiar with both tell be at what point this happened? Was it during the 1st series? did they just start writing a fresh 2nd? I'm quite curious and reckon that if it distanced itself from the source material it might have potential.
So whats the deal? Different? or are they stretching the same material out for a longer, slower, more painful death?

all right now I don't
that was fantastic
edit: wait, how the fuck did he get back there
He is getting too sad.
LoL: j0hnh4m
Didn't he make that deal at the conference or whatever?
But he didn't get any personal victory out of that, like he did with his Jan-based makeout session.
