Quick shipping question

For the love of God I can't find an answer to this anywhere.

I have a large package I need to ship, but it's not cube shaped... it's more of a big, skinny rectangle. Where do I put the damn address label? I can't really put it on "top" of the box on account of it's skinny. Do I go upper left hand corner on the broad side?

If anyone knows, I'd much appreciate some help!

    When I've gone to the post office with a large rectangular box they just put the label in the middle of the large side.
