Though some part of me deeply, deeply wishes to return once more to my precious rows of brick racks, creating hundreds of bricks at a time. A fragment of myself still wishes to produce so many pieces of flax.

Give it like 5 minutes when you load up the first time.
As to a tutorial, there's a checklist in the bottom left that shows you what you need to do, and most people are pretty helpful.
It seems important with these "goals" and whatnot
