Com doesn't turn on at all

Just today, I pressed the power button on my computer and nothing happened. The motherboard light is on.

I've thought of switching the power and reset button connections to the motherboard, but I'm not able to do that now.

Any other suggestions as to why the computer can't work? I was thinking power supply failure but the light on the motherboard's on.

    Unplug the power cord from the power supply (or the wall outlet). Wait 2-5 minutes. Plug it back in and push the power button. This works for me anytime my computer fails to power on which is usually when my cat walks on the on/off switch on the power strip. I don't know what it is, but I have to unplug the power supply and plug it back in to get it to boot up after that.
