Zimmydoom, Zimmydoom
Flew away in a balloon
Had sex with polar bears
While sitting in a reclining chair
Now there are Zim-Bear hybrids
Running around and clawing eyelids
Watch out, a Zim-Bear is about to have sex with yooooooou!
Aaaannnddd I ended up getting the first volume of The League of Extraordinary gentlemen when I went to the latest fables book. Woo spending money.
i went to Blockbuster, and they have the lowest prices of absolutely anywhere else at the moment. So I bought some DVD's and some games.
£4 for each DVD. Super Mario Galaxy Wii £24 (£35 everywhere else (even Amazon)), £30 CoD5.
Fallout3 was £14.99 but I already have it.
I have the random money splurge problem really bad. And I keep wanting to buy books.
Yeah during the summer blockbuster had good prices/sales going for movies, ended up getting 6 movies or so :P
it's even better now, it's insane. I'd say anyone who can get there and see what they're local one is doing soon, they don't even comply with their online prices, they just stick a number out of their arse and say that's what the game will go for.
Lucas or his company or whatever owns the copyrights to Star Wars. This would include the title. If anyone else tried to make a movie called Star Wars they would need to license the title from Lucas. If they didn't, they'd get sued.
Now Star Wars is a bad example because it's so famous it's probably also used as a trademark by now. I dunno.
But for something like "Employee of the Month" I doubt the original company is going to make a huge fuss about another movie wanting to use that name. They probably worked out a deal. Or didn't care enough to sue the other company. Or perhaps both movies were made by the same company that owned the overall copyrights. Who knows.

Hell I think yesterday my local one had a sale for the new batman movie marking them 5 bucks cheaper then everywhere else. crazy blockbuster
Hmmm, I'll get back to you on that, Zimmy. I have a large library of happy music, but I'm at the science building studying right now and my musical memory is ridiculously bad and ephemeral. :P
Some bad ideas, like sexing up your ex-girlfriend, or speeding while test driving a car you couldn't afford to buy anyway, or trying heroin, are what make life worth living.
Feral on
every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.

Michael Buffer
That's actually probably not a trademark
That sounds more like a right to publicity thing
EDIT: Oh huh I guess it is trademarked. According to Wikipedia. Let me just ask the USPTO.
