Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
A few years ago I saw a YouTube link posted in a thread here that featured the ending of a particular movie. From what I remember, it was an action/crime drama type, but the last ten minutes were absolutely ridiculous.
There was a car crash, and the guy gets out and rips off his own arm, because it's already falling off I guess. Then gets shot about a dozen times, and then in a fit of what can only be described as pissedness, pulls out a rocket launcher literally from nowhere. The guy that shot him summons some kind of fireball, and the two subsequent explosions from this confrontation create a shockwave that destroys the entire world.
I was trying to explain it to my buddy, but the clip would be so much better. I know one of you guys knows what I'm talking about.

Holy shit, that looks like the best movie ever!
I need someone to answer this guy's question!
Murphy's Law: Whatever can go wrong will go wrong.
Murphy's Paradox: The more you plan, the more that can go wrong. The less you plan, the less likely your plan will succeed.
It's even better because up until that point it's a mostly un-ridiculous, no superpowers kind of cop movie. I think there were sequels where that was expanded upon but I haven't seen them.
If that woman's cleavedge made one more person pick the game up off the shelf, it was a net positive for microprose. And to be blunt, if taking her top off could have increased sales enough to get a sequel, I'd endorse it 100000% because I like playing great games.
I think when asked why the guy suddenly has a rocket launcher, Takeshi Miike said something to effect of, "Every guy wants to shoot a rocket launcher. That's why he has one."
Gozu is another awesome and completely insane film by Takashi Miike.
It's been a while since I watched but I vaguely remember a lactating woman, a man with a cow's head, a ladle in someone's anus and a birth scene where a... well, just watch it.

And if you like that, just go ahead and check out his other works.
Shat a brick when I saw a Miike reference in No More Heroes.
