I haven't been around lately, but I wanted everyone to know that I'm still very much alive and ticking. I did this for a project at work. I started with a rough sketch, intending to do a clean final picture. I liked the sketch so much (as did the client) that we stuck with it.
And the color, which I actually really like. The hockey stick feels very... Calvin and Hobbes'ish, doesn't it?
Please, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Also, feel free to take the lineart and offer alternate color schemes/techniques.

Now that songs stuck in my head, and it's a good thing.
Really awesome, great movement to it. Socks might be a little bit too red compared to the ice/stadium/stripes on his shirt.
