Xbox + Netflix = LET'S WATCH MOVIES!

PREVIOUS MOVIE REPORT: BUSTIN' MAKES ME FEEL GOOD!

you may know by now that a big ol' update came out for the Xbox 360 that brought you these guys:

BUT it also brought NETFLIX FUNCTIONALITY! if you have a Netflix account, you can watch items from your instant queue on your Xbox! you browse the selection at the website, add movies to your queue, and all that data syncs up to your Xbox automatically. so yeah, that's cool.

BUT you can also join a party with other Netflix subscribers and watch movies together! it's all the fun of going to the movies without having to sit uncomfortably close to people you don't know!

there are AWESOME movies like BACK TO THE FUTURE

there are AWESOME tv shows like THE TWILIGHT ZONE

there are some RECENT movies like NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN

there are also AWFUL movies that you should LAUGH AT

so let's watch some movies SE++ (people who want to talk about seeing movies in theaters or on dvd should find another thread)

    I got a gift subscription (specifically for this), but it was for limited downloads. I decided to pay extra for the instant access, but now I have to wait a month for it to go through. :(

    My parents don't really want me using their credit card that much

    I just got hella microsoft points for rock band songs, I doubt they'd let me get a netflix account right now.

    yup, all the party features of playing a game are there. i'm always the guy who will nudge whoever they're seeing a movie with and quip about something during a silent part.

    open up the netflix thing and then go to the address (I think it's netflix.com/activate) and it'll give you a code you enter

    you have to be on at least the 8.99/month plan to get it to work I believe

    I am on the absolute minimum payment plan and am still wasting money

    gurren lagann disk 3 has been sitting there unwatched since like october

    okay I'm going to sleep but let's aim for like 5 tomorrow for ghostbusters? any earlier and it will be too light and my projector won't be at maximum lumens capacity
