Previously on 24: Ater the election of a new president, code names: LonelyAhava, Jack Bauer and CTU turned their attention to the Arms of Shiva.
The following takes place between 6:00pm and 7:00pm
Jack raced to intercept a target as His phone rang. Chloe called to relay him a breaking news report on Fox News. Niel Cavuto came on the scree.
"In tonight's news, the studios are being assaulted by federal forces, angry commoners, and terrorists! The devotees of our new leader, President Terrorist, have decided to silence the only free-speaking television station left in America!
Americans! Listen to America! Stay strong! Stay free! Stay American.
OH GOD THEY'RE BREAKING IN!"
Then no one broke in.
"Is it some sort of bioweapon that induces halucinations?" Jack asjed.
"No," answered Chloe, "he's just an idiot, I though you would get a kick out of that."
"DAMMIT CHLOE, WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS. I WANT A STATUS REPORT NOW!"
"Fine Jack, geeze, sorry. Okay A citizen by the name of Malkor was arrested by the FBI, but we don't have any details on if he was connected to The Arms. Tony led a strike team against a possible arms meet up, but got in a gunfight with some Arms members. There were two citizen causilteies.
Oh wait, no. They wern't civilians. Two men by the names of TheLawinator and Micro were killed. They turned out to be the last two members of a secondary terrorist group called The Scavengers of Desolation's Return. We don't know what their plans were, but we know they are both dead."
"Good thats one less threat we need to deal with. What else?" Jack inquired.
"Um, lets see. A citizen by the name of Buzz Buzz was found dead of some sort of supe rinfection The CDC had never seen before.
Someone reported the disapperance and reappearance of a man, named B;L but he seems to be fine, other than some wierd burns on his chest that he can't remember how he got.
Oh and one more. Oh no....."
"What is it Chloe?"
"Jack, apparently an Arms of Shiva member went to attack Egos, when his new girlfriend jumped in the way of the bullet. It was high-priority target code-name Mr. Defecation"
"And?" Asked Jack.
"Jack, That's Kim's code-name. Jack your daughter is dead."
"What? No"
Jack was wracked with pain, so much he didn't see the black SUV pull up next to him and open fire straight into his skull.
Jack Bauer, Agent Code-Named Kuhlmeye was dead.
OR SO WE THOUGHT. Jack Bauer doesn't go down like some punk bitch. After the terrorists drove away, Jack woke up and peeled the microscopic layer of impenetrable kevlar he had recently sewen onto his face. Jack had survived another attack.

Two bad guys dead, a faction gone, and Kim Bauer dead on day 1?
Have we ever had a better Day 1 in phalla history?
Hmm... Looks like Malkor was a neutral. Could be better for us, but on the whole it could be a lot worse, too.
Now the problem is that the bad guys are going to be fully organized; we won't have two groups working at cross purposes anymore. On the bright side, it's still two fewer baddies.
So two baddies down, none from the main group but still.
Not a bad first day, despite the two good kills. Then again that could just make Jack super pissed and like let him murder all of the baddies with vengeance.
