    hey javen let's interact

what is up my hoopy frood

i am reading Nation by Terry Pratchett and thinking about maybe playing some Fallout 3

also i will probably have some cereal for dinner because i am too tired to cook

I was lamenting just last night that I didn't have any cereal on hand

it is seriously the best snack food.

I just finished reading Cavalier and Clay and right now I'm installing FFXI because I hate myself.

It's snowing outside, but not the crappy kind like yesterday, the pretty kind that is easy to clean up.

    no javen noooo

just drink yourself to death man

A friend of mine approached me wanting to do a casual static group type thing. If it ever stops I'll probably stop playing but it'll be fun for a while, I hope.

my current favorite cereal is this honey sunshine stuff from kashi that is puffy and delicious

cavalier and clay is on my to read list because everyone speaks highly of it, but i do not think i will ever play FFXI

i did not like FFXII very much

it is slightly cool here but has been in the high seventies every day, blue skies and breezes all around

Hunter: The Vigil isn't really nWoD.

It uses the nWoD system but the setting is basically its own and ignores the way things work in the other books.

For example in the parts about vampires, it doesn't mention Clans or the Masquerade or any of that shit.

"Here is vampires and here is how you kill them" is how far it gets into it.

Leli, if you have not had poblano peppers before they are basically spicier versions of bell peppers with AWESOME flavor; I must cook you them on a grill or oven or something because they are like the best pepper you can eat and not die from mouth/gut burn.

It's very good (the book, not the game.) A few years ago they actually made a comic based of the Escapist, the comic the two main characters in the book create. It's pretty meta.

After finally quitting ffxi from nearly 4 years of play, I can safely say that you're all dumb and will regret your decision. If nothing else square-enix deserves recognition for creating a game that is the essence of tedium.

well not all of them, and that is cool

it is a somewhat archaic style that not everyone will appreciate

a professor once said that sometimes it's easier to read stuff in translation than it is to read old stuff in english

“Hic non defectus est, sed cattus minxit desuper nocte quadam. Confundatur pessimus cattus qui minxit super librum istum in nocte Daventrie, et consimiliter omnes alii propter illum. Et cavendum valde ne permittantur libri aperti per noctem ubi cattie venire possunt.”
