Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

I tend to assume people look like their avatars. This is rarely accurate.
edit: especially for you.
"So, guys... this is my mom..."
Get a smaller cat.
Haven't logged in about a month, but yeah.
I picked dwarf priest because I wanted to try healing and in vanilla dwarf free = almost guaranteed entry into raiding.
It worked, I was in BWL with the server #2 guild 3 weeks after hitting 60. Even in TBC Fear Ward was still quite powerful.
Wrath just can't get my attention, I levelled up fairly fast and did Naxx and Malygos and all that, farm status in 3 weeks, I went skiing and never felt the urge to return. From reading I hear mostly about lag, bugs, and delayed patches, dont think i'm missing much, working on that 3 drake egostrokin' that's left after 1 day of farming of my guild.
If I start posting in H/A I'll continue posting in H/A. Then I'll begin arguing in H/A, then I'll end up jailed/banned over something stupid in H/A. Also my default position/posting style tends to become sarcastic which is frowned upon.
The last one is sensitive pillow talk.
You can be Sulu to Elki's Uhura
hahahahahahha
Wouldn't it be weird if they weren't drunk?
Or both.
I think a few people might not have been drinking that night.
I've met forumers, it went well. There was much rejoicing, and booze and DVDs and videogames.
Drunks Against Mad Mothers
I pretty much just log on to blaze through Naxx three nights a week and then log off again. I quested up to Icecrown and then I just got bored.
L-to-R, Tarranon, Jokerman, JK's girl, JK, me below him, DSC and Inky.
Wait where was everybody else?
I think I'd be fine with it as long as there was some distance involved, weirdly enough.
Like, if I went to Wales I might try to meet up with Joh, or Haps if I went to Germany, but it would feel odd if it was someone who lived in the next street over, or something.
Jokerman lives an hour north of me, the same city I went to college in. Not to mention all the other Atlanta people that aren't really chat regs.
Edit: Should I go, I'll let you know. Maybe I'll be able to sneak out of town for a day.
Yarr, prepare to be... sodomized, matey.
Dude, those things are scams. They invite you to London, promising you money, and then they take you in the back of one of their cramped Cooper Minis and next thing you know you're in a warehouse getting talked to by a guy with a cockney accent and one of your fingers is smashed.
I think it comes down to really not being certain if I'd get along with people in real life. If there's sufficient distance that it takes effort to organise meeting up then it's easy to justify meeting up as a one off. It means you can't find yourself in that awkward situation where you have to make excuses for not going to the pub with someone whose company you really don't enjoy.
I am not good at socialising.
The clicking is enough to drive someone crazy
I find its easier to get along better with someone in real life than it is on the internet. Suddenly those opinions you disagree with are coming from a real flesh and blood person who isn't at all some horrible faceless enemy. Common ground is much easier to find.
