Penny Arcade Fanart Contest!
Starting right now there will be a Penny Arcade fanart contest here in the AC. It is official because Gabe and Tycho will be selecting the winner.
Here are the details:
Subject Matter: Fanart for anything Penny Arcade. This means 2D digital or traditional art. Scans/photos of traditional media must conform to the resolution/dpi requirement below.
Format: 8.5"/11" 400dpi (that's dots per inch) resolution. In pixels, that's 3400x4400, portrait orientation. This is important as the piece will be put into print and nobody likes jaggies. Obviously you will be posting a smaller version for submission but be sure to have a full size master copy.
Deadline: March 31st, 2009 (or April 1st early morning PST kind of) - KHOO ADDENDUM: If you have a WIP posted by deadline, Thursday Morning at 8AM PST is absolute totally non-negotiable cutoff!
Judging: Gabe and Tycho will be selecting the winner.
Submitting: Simply post your submission in this thread before the deadline. Post a reasonably sized version, not your full size master copy. Multiple entries are fine. Please do not submit something if you don't intend to have it entered and/or don't have the dimensions requirement met.
Prize: The winner of the contest will have their piece of fanart included and credited in the next Penny Arcade book. The winner will also receive a copy of the new book*, along with all previous Penny Arcade books.
*Khoo Note: This will actually appear in the Penny Arcade Anniversary book.
