The elevator went up to the floor though. And Echo/Caroline left a message at the end. "We're underground."

Am I the only one who LIKES the theme song for the show? I quite enjoy it.

I like it, but the original version with lyrics is terrible, probably because the best part of the theme version is the tinkling chimes at the end.

That episode was magnificent. It was really bad timing that the forums were down right after because I was ready for a long post about the awesomeness. Straight out of the Star Trek playbook.

You guys didn't like the Firefly theme song? Really? Huh.

The beginning of Dollhouse is ok I guess. I always sing along right at the start. "Dah dah dah dah dah..."

What stood out more for me is the show seems to have really long intro sequences before the theme starts.

More importantly, when Dr. Saunders says to Boyd, "I believe the system's flawed. Maybe irreparably. But maybe not for the same reasons you do."

There's this odd musical cue, and the camera cuts to Echo eying Dr. Saunders for saying that line.

Yea but its a tv show and as well as knocking her onconscious and stealing her I.D. is, wearing the exact same clothes as her really sends the message home so theres no misunderstanding. TV shows do it to make the plot as clear as possible, its like arguing about some character walking through a hallway which seems fairly lighted (to the audience point of view) but the character acts like its pitch black.

I don't think it's proper to judge the show on the merit of a few individual sentences.

The whole Ballard segment and development was fantastic. The 'irony' line during the Lonely Hearts engagement.

My opinion had dropped sharply after the pop star episode and I was ready to write it off but its been much better for the past few episodes. Not Terminator Chronicles good but still good.

And I don't think Alpha had default ninja skills, he'd just been used for a lot of agressive, physically lethal imprints and possibly in things like surgical skills to since he disected people to death.

More people watching this awesome episode means more people are hopefully likely to watch next week, too.

Except if they tune in next week, they'll find Prisonbreak instead.

But man, totally fucking awesome episode. It's funny, cause they're ramping things up so quickly that it makes you wonder what Whedon's overall arch is for this show.

At first most of us probably assumed that Echo freeing herself or gaining free will would take a bit longer, I definately didn't see the revelation of the mole, or the whole thing with millie happening so soon. For me the best parts of the ep were everything with DeWitt and Roger, because it truly was a holy fuck moment.
