Clearly Jetfire's anecdote about his grandfather was the best line.

I finally saw the movie. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. The tight shirt joke was the best line in the movie.

I didnt even get it, they werent wearing tight shirts.

Those are both good lines, but it's not like they had much competition.

    My favourite was probably:

    "How do you know?"
    "Because I believe."

    What was jetfire's anecdote

I liked a couple of Simmon's lines a lot, as well as other Jetfire lines.

Can we just say that John Tuturro had the best lines?

He wins because any time a friend is telling a long story and gets distracted I'll be using his little speech. Is it so hard to understand that a horrible movie can have a few good lines in it?

...Did anyone else get some sort of twisted joy from the insanity that was the "it wasn't my best toss ok?" conversation?

Jetfire: My father... why, he was a wheel. The *first* wheel! Do you know what he transformed into?
    Agent Simmons: No.
Jetfire: Nothing! But he did so with honor. Dignity, dammit.

Is that John Tuturro voicing Jetfire? I thought it was the guy that did Bumblebee...

Yeah, Wikipedia says that it's Mark Ryan (played all the onset transformers) voicing Jetfire.

I could have sworn the credits to the film said Tuturro.

Ah I remember that, yea as a character I liked Jetfire.

I liked Optimus too, but I think he has less screen time than any of the human characters, the twins, bumblebee, and megan fox's rear

  • moocowmoocow Registered User regular
Optimus was a psychotic asshole in this film.

    imttnk.png
  • psycojesterpsycojester Registered User regular
No, he was a noble psychotic, he was a violent psychopath who'd manage to channel his need to rips people heads off and wear them as hats for good.

When it comes to Transformers 2, nothing justifies the end either.

If megan fox and the sluticon had hung their tits out, maybe throw in some fuckbunny soldier chick on the whatever the fuck army thing to fuck the soldier guys (and later, Sam, cause that's how pornos go), and it would've been a pretty decent porno...with giant robots smashing stuff.

Then the retarded anti-plot and other shortcomings wouldn't have mattered!

I have solved the problem of Tf2! Someone call Michael Bay so he can fix his movie!

I can't believe that this topic has nearly reached 100 pages, especially when most people hated the film.
Can we not let it go? Is there not a better use for everyone's time than hating on a film for 99 pages?

    (I kinda liked the film)

I'd have said that the rate at whgich this topic has slowed down, people have let it go.

Wish I could say the same for its box office.

Well, every now and then someone comes in and says "Hey this was a good movie," "Hey you guys are using your brains ololol," or "Why all the hate?"

Then we have to once again go over the many ways in which the movie was bad.

This is nothing. Try saying you liked the ending of BSG in that thread, and look at the responses you get. And that ended four months ago.

I think part of it is that the more fanatical of those who despise the film want to ge the thread to 100 pages so it will be locked and we never have to speak of it again.

Because you know that if a new thread is started it won't go anywhere.

I don't think that one will have even the amount of excitement this one did before release.

The only good thing about that film will be Snake-Eyes, and maybe Christopher Eccleston, and Snake-Eyes won't get any lines.
