Most people I know really hate this song, but man, it grew on me and I kind of love it now.
Same. It was on the sound track to Jet Set Radio Future and it really grew on me. There's a lot of songs on that OST that should summon up all my ire, but don't.
No. Fuck this song.
I love, love Jet Set Radio Future but this tune was the bane of my existence in that game.
Ugh.
Time to balance this out with the best song in the game:
My sound isn't working at the moment so even if I could find a suitable Youtube video, I couldn't confirm its (lack of) quality.
But man, "What A Fool Believes" by the Doobie Brothers is the worst fucking song in existence. I just Wikipedia'd it and am now even more saddened that somehow it won the Grammy for Best Song of that year, proving its worthlessness as an award even more.

So have you ever just been sitting around and thinking, "You know what would be cool? Pirate themed heavy metal".
Unfortunately, someone's already done it.
snip
you're, uh, 20 years late there, not to mention it was already done perfectly right
..snippy
I don't know if I'd call a middle of the road german cheeze metal band "doing it perfectly right". But at least they're not bad enough to be in this list.
And one of the guys at work for some reason picked up the latest HED PE album. Oh god, what a massive pile of suck that is. It's so much concentrated suck, I'm waiting for it to collapse in upon itself and create a massive suck singularity.
And the leekspin song has been covered already, but goddamn I can spend hours at a time with that playing while I'm doing other things without even noticing.
Cheesy as hell but the animation is neat for the video considering I don't think it was commercial. I could probably add a good chunk of my favorite tunes to this thread, I seem to like some pretty bad/cheesy tunes overall.

Tila Tequila is part of that group of celebrity anomalies that occur when someone becomes popular for seemingly no apparent reason. I didn't even realize she made music. If, er, music is the right word here.
If you are going to bring up Fergie then you must talk about how awful My Humps is. I thought it was a joke and realized it wasn't and looking for a gun.
Oh man I hate to even post this but I don't know how it hasn't been mentioned
Freshman year in high school we literally could not escape this song and it made us all want to die
I will always and forever hate this song with the fury of a thousand burning suns. First of all, Damon Albarn just sounds so damn bitchy in this song (and not in a good way). And then there's that damn chorus you can't get out of your head. And following that, the retarded music that comes on after the chorus.
The next thing you know, it's turning into some kind of weird NAMBLA/ Kids Are People Too anthem as the lyrics get mangled in your head, "Girls who love boys who love girls who love men who love boys who love men who love girls..." Da Da DAH Da Da DAH
And then of course this damn song that got used in every semi action oriented movie ad of the 90's.
Really? Because the guy who sits next to me at work plays it at least twice every day and I did not get that impression at all.
I just can't stand his obnoxious "singing", which always seems to be set to a permanent 11. It's like he is trying to channel Dave Greol but forgets that even he dials it down from time to time.

Are we talking the album or the track you linked? I haven’t listened to the latter.
Regardless, my music commentary is always just opinion.
The Stones for me have always been hit or miss for me. This one just annoys me.
That being said, I'd have to say that the Stones is a band I admire tremendously regardless of the fact that I think some of their music is tripe. After watching Shine a Light, I was impressed beyond belief at the raw energy this group still wields in a live performance.
Jesus there is some shit out there. Man I'm all up for people with creative talent making music, but the new popular thing of "anyone can make music" is breeding some cretinous leeches.

Yeah this doesn't fit with the thread but dammit if that isn't the worst song ever.
Unfortunately, someone's already done it.

Not sure if I can get this embedded right, but on that note of that here is a remix even harder to get out of your head.

I think someone needs to tell them it isn't 1999 anymore.
And this is coming from someone who liked hedPE back in the day.

Holy fuck this is bad
That video is sublime.
-edit-
and the barbie song is great. if you don't like it you may in fact just hate fun.
somebody posted this on here not long ago. it's pretty bad, but also hilarious.

Seriously don't listen to it or you'll regret it but it had to be said
EDIT: Also are those pirate rock songs supposed to sound like Boss music from a nautical-themed PS1-era castlevania game or is it just a coincidence?
And then rose Cthulhu
I can't believe I've never seen this before. It's fucking hilarious.

Ironically, I like Albarn in Gorillaz...
This fucking band.
Yelling lyrics does not make you a good singer!
They just need to be good-looking and/or have a strong and marketable persona.
This band is objectively terrible, in spite of the fact that the singer is kind of hunky.
I just can't stand his obnoxious "singing", which always seems to be set to a permanent 11. It's like he is trying to channel Dave Greol but forgets that even he dials it down from time to time.
seriously, of all the things wrong with that track, the yelling is the part that throws it off for you?
Regardless, my music commentary is always just opinion.
If they were a good band at some point I can respect that, but damn.
This shit's hilarious.
Better than Viking metal though.
Kill me. In the head.

Also this is pretty bad - used to be on a lot of those 80's compilations:

Anyway, on with the terrible music. NSFW lyrics.

AAARGH.
This is song is my favourite earworm.
Catch myself singing it in public waaaay too often.
It's pretty bad, but at least it's more musically creative than most of the stuff in this thread.
It starts off rather listenable...the little western harmonica piece isn't too bad...
Just got to opera rap though....
*EDIT* Even that wasn't toooo terrible, but fuck me, once it got to tone-deaf children singing Christmas songs I folded.
The attempt to make the Most Wanted Music isn't as grating but it's pretty horrible too.
Hahaha. I think it says a lot about the people who participated in this survey.
Oh, you want terribly awesome tunes? I don't think any other style can top power metal for cheesy awesomeness.
Here's a few samples:
