I know of two places in Thousand Year Door where you can decide to be terrible and you get an automatic game over.
The first time is when you find the diary belonging to a ghost kid. He warns you not to read it, but if you try he appears.

Freakangels is a very strange series.
It took me a while just to get used to the artstyle, and the dialog is dumb sometimes, but it's definitely something different. That's always a plus.
