Yeah, except mechincal pencils suck ass.
I mean like a real pencil, where the lead strips off to reveal an awesome sharp lead eveytime it goes blunt. Get your mechanical pencil drawing ass working on that.

I don't like drawing with mechanical pencils, they are too floaty. I try them every now and again and keep reverting back to stock pencils.

I dunno, my mechanical pencil seems pretty influenced by gravity.
Hrm, maybe floaty is the wrong term, I just tend to draw pansy lines when I use them.

Really? Weird. I have the opposite deal, usually - it's easier for me to make a "light" mark with a regular pencil.
That or the people would think, "Who shits with pens?"

Regular pencils can be nice for shading, yeah. I'll give them that. But linework or detail? I'ma stick with my mechanical pencils.

I bought a 5F the other day and don't think I had it for longer than 6 hours before I lost it.
I was pissed too, because I went out especially to get it.
