Can I partially hijack this thread with a question about the Macbook displays, as in why would I want glossy over anti-glare?

If my opinion matters, the Ultrasharps really do look nice, I just got one at work to use with the Viz computer.

    Glossy gives the perception of greater contrast but it sucks. If there is even a hint of another light source, you'll see reflections in the screen.

    k not really, i have a macbook with a glossy screen and it is very easy to read, if youre concentrating on the reflection of the ceiling light or lamp or whatever, then i dont know whats wrong with you
