    i've never really understood why Wil Wheaton is held in such a high regard in the nerd community. Yeah, he was on Star Trek. but a lot of people were on Star Trek.

    if the guy from Star Trek and Reading Rainbow was on this list, i would vote for the guy from Reading Rainbow and Star Trek.

    The vote on the other one is tough, though. I'm tempted to give it to Wheedon because, you know. Not fictional and everything, but Firefly and Dr. Horrible are the only things he's ever done that have been better than terrible.

    it's the sad thing about a lot of nerdy people. we search for familiarity and acceptance for so long that once a common knowledge or object is found, it just won't be allowed to die

    He has a blog I guess? I dunno. He for sure got invited to cons back in the day because he was on Star Trek. Then people found out he was an affable, likeable nerd that could relate, and he seems pretty down to hit cons and such whenever he gets invited, so, bam.

    I voted for Gabe and Tycho anyway because I don't know jack all about the other members.

    Everything I know about Wil Wheaton I've learned from you people idolizing him, I've never watched Firefly, which seems to have been Joss Whedon's only well received work.

    Meh. He was on the Bridge alot after his first season, up to around season 5 I guess? Had a couple of episodes that were mostly about him.

    buffy/angel went on for a long time I think that was his other series.

    he also weote some x-men comics I think.
