so the job market around here has basically gone to shit
i found a horrible fast food job which i apparently can't even get hired for now because i had to reschedule for the orientation because i don't have my new car yet!
the best part is that getting a new car hinges upon getting a job
I finally managed to get past the writer's block that's been giving me problems since the beginning of January, so that's nice. By summertime I may actually have something that resembles a novel in one aspect or another.
And I booked a trip with the gf during June, which is looking to be fun. Life continues to be good.
Today I've seen three apartments. One awesome and cheap, one even-more-awesome-but-expensive and one that just defies all description. It was like a bum with a serious drug addiction had spent the last seven years in that place except that in the middle of all this unspeakable horror there stood a shiny new computer, a new stereo and four summer tires. Because this bum had wheels. Literally.

So, I just moved to Atlanta on Saturday and I start work tomorrow. Ballin'. Working at a fancy bakery.
My gf used to work at a bakery, and at the end of the day they had to throw away any bread that hadn't been sold. They weren't allowed to give it away to the local charity/food thingy due to some reason I can't remember... but it was something retarded in regards to food/health safety I think.

so I am about to go buy my tickets for a 5 week trip through europe, which I will leave for the day of my last final in april and that is rad
on the other hand I can't stand school, my job or the fact that my life is essentially in the same place it was 2 years ago when I was finishing high school so hopefully this trip will distract me from my rut

On Superbowl Sunday a friend brought over a 5 foot sandwich from his workplace that they had to get rid of at the end of the day.

Job is interesting and challenging, my fitness is improving and, despite a two week slump, my motivation is staying high

As far as my life, my current gig has me working 16-18-hour days. Fucking brutal. But it pays $180 a day, which dulls my complaints somewhat.
I have tomorrow off, which is a fucking godsend. So I'm currently racing through an 18-pack, which is just making my night even better
